Marketing & Research Intern required for dynamic Design Company (unpaid)
Design Communication, as part of Ashville Media Group is a young, dynamic and fast paced
professional magazine and design consultancy with several high profile clients and with vast
growth and business expansion plans for 2007 and 2008.

As such, we have an ongoing requirement for 1-2 interns within the team to support Managers
with their various tasks and projects. Internship period is approx 8-12 weeks and upon
successful completion, these internships may lead to a full time customer relationship manager
position within the division as and when possible and appropriate.

The internship program will include experience in the following aspects of magazine
consultancy

  1. PR and Marketing, including brochures, websites, digital etc
  2. Research and development of target information
  3. Gathering of competitor intelligence
  4. Liaison with client, photographer, printing and production division
  5. Administration and project management
  6. Dealing with design, editorial, photography

The experience is geared to give an enthusiastic student the opportunity to experience and
learn all aspects of magazine publishing business.
