Tracey Carney – Events Director
I am passionate about events. I love the event rush – those last few hours before the guests arrive, when I witness the months of hard work coming together. I really enjoy the technical production, down to the minute details of a show, working closely with technicians getting the lighting just right and bringing that wow factor to an event.
I could not do my job without the support of a wonderful team. You are only as good as your last event, and I am lucky to work with group of people who thrive on pressure and excel in communications.
Background: 10 years experience in producing world class events, my engineering degree led me to work behind the scenes in technical production and design with Sumo Multimedia. Prior to joining Ashville as sales and marketing manager at Conference Partners and worked freelance on a variety of events. 10 years’ experience sourcing sponsorship, managing accounts and producing world-class events. I spent some time with Chambers Ireland, the American Chamber of Commerce and the Sunday Business Post before joining Ashville.
Responsibilities: Producing unique events, maximizing budgets, and ensuring sponsors and guests attend and that the event is one to remember.
Passionate about: Creating events from concept through to reality, developing new ideas and working with new technologies, exceeding clients’ expectations and seeing an event grow year on year.
Likes: Positive people, attention to detail, actions not words!
Dislikes: Waffle, high prices and mistakes.
