Brenda McPadden – Client Service & Digital Director
I spent the first few seconds trying to spell out ‘application’ and things like ‘client digital strategy’.
Then it occurred to me that my job was all about clients being happy. Happy with their magazines, happy with our service and happy with their content working digitally.
That’s why I picked happy.
Background: Ten years in the publishing sector. I first had a stab at running my own company, then spent four years in Business & Finance magazine before joining Ashville.
Responsibilities: All things client-related and all things digital.
Passionate about: Making clients’ content work harder for them and meeting the challenge of taking magazine content to a digital and social platform.
Likes: Digital innovation, happy clients and straight talking.
Dislikes: Missing deadlines, fat words (e.g. ‘leading provider’, ‘outside-the-box thinking’) and cycling to work when it rains.
